VanHoutteghem started making the belgian darts & dartboards here in the USA after immiragting here after WWI. They are the ONLY family who has ever made this product outside of Belgium and continue this tradition that he started almost 90 years ago (three-generations).
He married our Julia Depprettere here in the USA after she immigrated to the USA after her family was killed in WWI. She told the only reason she lived was an Austrian soldier (who Julia knew before the war started) who stopped the German soldiers from killing her. And as they say,” The rest is history”
